Getting your dog set up in Scout:

Create a recurring appointment with your set days.

To create a recurring appointment: Click on the Add Appointment button, choose your pet, choose the service, select start date and then hit repeat.  Click the days you would like your dog to get out with us and then choose an end date and save. You can then go through and cancel any appointments you may not need.

Any scheduling changes should be updated in the app.  I appreciate everyone who checks in first but updating in the app on your end eliminates errors on my end.

Scout creates report cards with each appointment.  The system will send an email which you can click on for the report.

Report Cards:

Report Cards can be viewed by clicking on the completed adventure in the app or by opening the completed email

Dates we will be closed this year:

Jan 1,2,3

Memorial Day

July 4th

Labor Day

Thanksgiving and Black Friday

Dec 25,26,31

Snow: If it snows, I will be making the call that morning about whether we will be making the trip or not. This will be determined by the amount of snow and what it has done to the roads. We know dogs love to play in the snow so when the driving risks are minimal we will make the trip. If there is snow in Snohomish but not here we will take any dogs who are allowed to go to the dog park to Magnuson or Grandview.

Smoke: If the AQI is above 150 or predicted to be above 150 for the day the park trip will be canceled. If you are headed to the office and your dog needs to get out to eliminate text us asap.  We will send out emails when air quality looks like it will be an issue.

Community Responsibilities

We are a small community of dogs.  If everyone takes care of their dog and is proactive with any signs of sickness we can mitigate risk to the rest of the community.

Dogs should all have an opportunity to go to the bathroom before we pick them up.  The dogs don’t need the added stress during the drive of having to hold it until we get to our destination.

Keep your dog up to date on vaccinations. Email me whenever they are updated. If you have questions about which vaccines your dog will need please ask.

Update your schedule in Scout as soon as you know of any schedule changes.

If your dog gets giardia, viral warts(viral papillomas), kennel cough or any other upper respiratory infections or viral infections please notify me and they will need to stay home until they are cleared by the vet.

If your dog develops any physical or behavioral issues please let me know by email or a phone call before we see your dog again.  Even if it may seem like it has nothing to do with being around other dogs please let me know anyways.  I think we all know that stress can affect how we respond to other people.  It is no different with dogs.

If your dog is injured or injures another dog while they are out with you or in someone else’s care please let me know asap so we can have a conversation before your dog is in group.
